Consultations

Everything on this site that needs a prescription starts with a conversation. That conversation is the point of the clinic — the store is only how the agreed plan reaches you.

Why a consultation comes first

Not a formality, and not a sales step.

Much of this range is prescription-only. Beyond the legal position, what is appropriate depends on your history, what else you are taking, what you have already tried, and what you actually want to change. A practitioner who has seen all of that will sometimes recommend something other than what you came in for — including nothing at all.

It is also how doses get adjusted honestly. Once you are a patient, your clinician can change what is on your repeat from inside your record, and you will see exactly what changed and who changed it.

What happens in one

A first consultation usually runs longer than a follow-up. The shape is the same.

  1. 01

    History and what brought you

Your medical history, current medication and supplements, previous investigations, and what you are hoping to change. Bring anything you are already taking, including over-the-counter products — interactions are the most common reason a plan gets adjusted.
  2. 02

    Measurement, where it helps

Bloods, body composition or other diagnostics may be requested where they would change the decision. Where existing results will do, we use those rather than repeating them.
  3. 03

A plan you both agree on

What is appropriate, what it involves, how long before anything would be assessed, and what the realistic outcome is — including when the answer is that nothing here is right for you.
  4. 04

    A prescription, where one applies

Items that require a prescription are prescribed by the practitioner who saw you. That is what makes them orderable on your profile.
  5. 05

    Follow-up

Ongoing courses are reviewed rather than repeated indefinitely. Your clinician will tell you when the next review is due, and can adjust your repeat items from your record at any point.

What to bring

Anything that saves the practitioner guessing saves you a second appointment.

  • A list of everything you currently take — prescription, over-the-counter, and supplements, with doses.
  • Recent blood work or other results, even if they were done elsewhere.
  • Any diagnosis you are under care for, and who is looking after it.
  • What you have tried before, and what happened.
  • Your questions, written down. They are easy to forget in the room.

Booking

Consultations are by appointment, in person at the clinic or remotely where that is suitable.

Already a patient

You do not need a new consultation to order something you are already prescribed.

Create a profile with the email address the clinic has for you and your pricing opens immediately. If your clinician has prepared a cart for you, it will be waiting when you sign in, with their note attached. How that works →

Book a consultation, or read the range first.

There is no obligation to do either in a particular order — the catalogue is open, and the appointment is a conversation.
